About The Puzzle

Under the watchful eye of a celestial guardian, a fallen warrior rests in the heart of the wild.

This fantasy-themed puzzle captures a scene of quiet reverence, contrasting the immense power of the dragon with the delicate peace of the grave. The visual balance between the shimmer across the dragon's gentle scales and the sharp clarity of the night sky creates an engaging assembly process that tells a story of devotion beyond life.

About The Artist

Catherine creates digital and mixed-media illustrations for children’s books, novel and movie covers, and video game backgrounds, bringing creative visions to life.

"The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life."
— Richard Bach

Precision engineered beveled edges glide effortlessly into place, delivering the most satisfying "clicks" with every placement.

Beautiful and entertaining puzzle

This is a beautiful puzzle with interesting artwork. My husband and I debated on what story it was telling, and it seems to us that the dragon is mourning the loss of whoever is buried in the grave. It’s a magical scene with a beautifully haunting vibe. This is a pretty challenging puzzle, perfect for puzzle lovers who want a bit of a workout. The pieces are great quality, thick, well-made and with a lovely soft matte finish. If you need it, the pieces have the alphabet-labeled grid on the back to give you a hint about placement, but it’s couched in a gray background so you can overlook it if that’s not wanted. Would highly recommend for puzzle lovers who are also into fantasy themes. It also comes in a lovely sturdy box with a magnetic closure for storage.

Eternal Promise 1000-pc jigsaw - FABULOUS!

I absolutely LOVED this jigsaw puzzle. I was drawn to the beautiful artwork immediately. Each person interprets art in their own unique individual way. I see a huge dragon peacefully observing a group of comparatively tiny unicorns in their natural habitat. I love nature, and I always find myself peering down at little spiders and insects and bugs out of pure curiosity. When I saw this picture, I imagined that's how I probably appear to these tiny creatures I stop to admire when I come upon them. I always hope they know that I mean them no harm.As for the puzzle, everything was excellent quality - the image, the pieces (beautiful matte finish), the picture rendering on the box cover (which is in lieu of a poster). I found the assembly moderately challenging - I finished it in a few days at a relaxing stress-free pace...I enjoyed every minute of it. And I applaud the artist Catherine Highton for the sheer beauty of her image.

Good quality, but be aware it's not a glossy finish like most puzzles.

I bought this as a gift for my son, who is very into fantasy. Sadly, turns out he's not that into jigsaw puzzles. Otherwise, this is a pretty nice item. The material is sturdy, and the image has good detail. I think it would be nicer with a glossy finish, rather than matte, however.

Puzzle

This puzzle is cute and good for those dragon lovers. It has clean cute edges. Good for any occasion.

Choosing A Frame

A deep navy frame color goes well with the dominate blue shades in the artwork. It pairs beautifully with the dragon and night sky, enhancing the mystical ambiance. This fits harmoniously with the overall colors, creating a balanced presentation.

For wooden options, try walnut wood. It has a warm, dark finish that highlights the deep blues in the artwork and adds warmth and sophistication.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Eternal Promise is an original artwork created by Catherine Highton. Like every design we offer, it is entirely the creation of human artists.

Ribbon cut is a puzzle pattern with uniform pieces arranged in a grid of rows and columns, making pieces more predictable and consistent to solve. This traditional cutting style also creates straight, elegant lines across the assembled puzzle, making it ideal for framed wall art.

Each member of our team takes turns assembling new designs. This helps us assess the difficulty of each puzzle.

Eternal Promise comes with 1000 pieces, featuring ribbon-cut pieces with uniform shapes and a gradient color guide printed on the back, making assembly more manageable. Based on our actual completion time of 11 hours, this is our rating for Eternal Promise:

Difficulty 6.2/10

All our jigsaw puzzles feature a sorting guide with color gradient on the back to help identify piece positions. The back also comes with subtle patterns that indicate the orientation of each piece, making it possible to solve even the most challenging puzzles entirely from the back.

Start by separating the edge pieces, as their shapes are the most identifiable. Next, focus on sorting distinctive colors into a separate container, and sort the remaining pieces by key areas like the dragon or the moon.

A 1000 piece puzzle like Eternal Promise typically takes about 4 to 6 containers. This strategy effectively helps create a central anchor point to start the puzzle with, and it significantly reduces the time it takes to find pieces.

The easiest way to save your progress is to slide a piece of cardboard or a puzzle mat underneath, then simply lift and move the whole puzzle. Great for storage or clearing the table.
